]]> http://www.camphappydays.org/archives/1211/feed 0 Paul Mitchell School Princess Party http://www.camphappydays.org/archives/1209 http://www.camphappydays.org/archives/1209#comments Sun, 06 Nov 2011 17:05:46 +0000 Camp Happy Days http://www.camphappydays.org/?p=1209 Camp Happy Days would like to thank all of the stylists and leaders at  The Paul Mitchell School for making our girls feel so special on Nov. 11.  The School opened their doors to our campers ages 4-17, where they were made over by make up artists, hair stylists and manicurists.  The highlight of the evening were the wigs that the school made for our campers.  All the natural hair was donated and the Paul Mitchell students spent a week making wigs specifically for our girls.  CHD Volunteers,  members of the Paul Mitchell School and CiCi’s pizza provided a delicious spread for all that were there.   Thank you.

]]> http://www.camphappydays.org/archives/1209/feed 0 Wine Down the Summer http://www.camphappydays.org/archives/1189 http://www.camphappydays.org/archives/1189#comments Mon, 10 Oct 2011 20:40:33 +0000 Camp Happy Days http://www.camphappydays.org/?p=1189 Wine Down the Summer, a fundraiser benefited Camp Happy Days on Friday October 7th.  The event was held at board member Vicki Baker’s home on South Battery.  Over 175 guests drank specialty cocktails designed by Spiritist Jasmine Beck of the Cocktail Club.  Oak Steakhouse and Charleston Outdoor Catering presented the food. Palmetto Distributors and Fly Line Wineries provided the beer and the wine.  A silent auction with items related to “drinking” and travel raised close to $5,000.  The highest price item, dinner fori eight designed and presented by Jermaih Bacon went for $1,000.  The event raised close to $10,000. to support Camp Happy Days year- round programs fro children with cancer!
