Camp Happy Days Programs

Camp Happy Days

This week long, flagship event is for children diagnosed with cancer and their siblings, ages 4-16. This powerful, life changing experience helps these children an opportunity to build self-esteem, courage, confidence and trust in an incredibly active, high energy environment created just for them.

Extreme Teens

Specifically designed for teenagers diagnosed with cancer, this program allows teens to interact with one another, share experiences, and enjoy fun unlike they can anywhere else. This program also shares a special partnership with the Medical University of South Carolinas’ Can-Teen Program, serving newly diagnosed teenagers.

Dream Dates

A very special, customized day or night created to make dreams come true for children struggling with their cancer treatments or are celebrating the end of treatment. The activities are geared toward the child’s interest.

Holiday Festival

Our festival is for all Camp Happy Days families to gather and celebrate the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. A catered meal, music, arts and crafts, caroling and a visit from Santa Claus are all part of this special day.

Holiday Giving

Volunteers, donors and friends join forces to sponsor a child with cancer or a family to help fulfill their Christmas wishes.

Disney Trip

An exciting, once in a lifetime, 5-day adventure for children diagnosed with cancer and their siblings, ages 11-16. During this time they will experience the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Universal Studios, Universal Islands of Adventure and Sea World. This is a very important and special time for a special group of kids to bond and experience much of the fun that cancer stole from them.

Family Camp

A special weekend for the entire family is an opportunity for parents to connect with others, learn, share and develop tools to cope with the stress and anxiety of their child’s cancer, while also enjoying family friendly activities and events.

Doodlebug Trip

A day outing designed for children with cancer and their siblings ages 9 and under. Parents and children engage in a fun activity with volunteers and some of their soon to be summer camp counselors.

Family Crisis Assistance

Direct access to financial assistance and other resources are available to all eligible families.
