For the first time in our history, virtual camp allowed us to reach kids currently hospitalized for cancer treatment.

Bringing Camp to Those Who Need it Most

  • 2020: Our traditional week of camp was cancelled due to Covid

  • This led us to creating a virtual camp that way campers could still receive the benefits of a week at camp

  • This program was a great success and not only allowed us to serve children at their homes but also to start serving children in the hospital or currently quarantined due to their treatment plan

  • During the week of virtual camp, a physical box is sent to each camper with activities and virtual elements like pre-recorded video instructions, virtual Cabin Chats, live videos and support rooms for specific activities. These boxes are filled to the brim with opportunities to bring the benefits of Camp to their home and engage and connect with their camp family!
